IAP Membership: EC established working group (Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, TWAS, Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei and Australian Academy of Sciences) to propose criteria, including nomination procedures for new academies and observers, and to explore why some academies have not endorsed Statutes. IAP's current membership is 76.

Following comments from member academies concerning lack of follow-up to Tokyo conference in May 2000, EC asked to have transcripts presented at Tokyo placed on IAP website. Also agreed to explore possibility of printing proceedings of Tokyo conference (print and/or Cd-rom).
