DESCRIPTION OF INVOLVEMENT IN THE ACADEMY'S ACTIVITIES OR IN INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS:
As Vice-President of the Academy, Gabriel Bernardello has been highly involved in most of the activities the Academy carries out. It should be highlighted that this Academy was very active in the Education program of IANAS in 2023 which mainly consisted in getting Academicians involved  in designing and carrying out scientific projects with primary school students from Córdoba, Argentina. Gabriel was responsible for this program which resulted very successful and is currently being implemented as a program of the Academy to contribute to the improvement of scientific knowledge at our schools. 

EVIDENCE OF PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES IN AN IAP,NATIONAL ACADEMY OR OTHER SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATION'S GOVERNING BODY:
Since 2007, Gabriel Bernardello was  elected as a member of the Academia Nacional de Ciencias of Argentina. Since then, he has been in the Executive Committee occupying  different positions. At present and since 2020, he is the Vice-President of the Academy.  He is also the Chair of the Committee for Arts, Museums and Historical Building of the Academy and serves on its Education Committee.
