DESCRIPTION OF INVOLVEMENT IN THE ACADEMY'S ACTIVITIES OR IN INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS:
Patrice Debré is the chair of the international relationship committee of the French Academy of medicine. Due to his expertise and experience as professor in medicine ( immunology) and director of a research institute and as ambassador at the ministry of foreign affairs in France , he remarquably developed the international relationships of our French Academy of medicine.
He set up regular webinars for exchanges in medicine with numerous countries of South East Asia, Africa ( North, Ouest , Central), North America , Latin America , Balkan , India , China due to academic contacts. He developed collaborative activities with African countries as well as with China , Canada and Brasíl. He has a great experience in networking and in developing bilateral as well as multilateral relationships with low and middle class countries. He has been interested by the one heath concept and the role of climate on health. He has been involved in the fight against infectious and emerging diseases. To have been member of the developing and programme committee gave him another experience of inter academic relationships.
