DESCRIPTION OF INVOLVEMENT IN THE ACADEMY'S ACTIVITIES OR IN INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS:
The CAE is proud to nominate Prof. HE for the position of IAP Policy Advice Committee. As the project leader, Prof. HE spearheaded the CAE's international cooperation strategic research and consulting project, “A Comparative Study of Carbon Neutrality Strategies and Policies in Major Economies.” The research outcomes not only contributed to policy recommendation reports for the central government but were also presented at platforms such as the China-US climate change dialogue, COP28 side events, and meetings with foreign members at the Academy. Additionally, He has served as the lead Chinese expert for several years on the Special Policy Study (SPS) projects with the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED), focusing on innovative research into Collaborative Mechanism for Carbon Reduction, Pollution Reduction, Green Expansion and Growth. The key findings of this research have been internationally shared through the CCICED's annual forum.
