Johanna joined the InterAcademy Partnership in September 2019 as project assistant, situated at the headquarters of the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina. The Leopoldina liaises closely with the InterAcademy Partnership through the IAP President and IAP for Science Co-chair Prof. Volker ter Meulen, past president of the Leopoldina. Following work experience with the international relations program of the Robert Bosch Foundation, she is assisting with the coordination of the global IAP project ‘Climate Change and Health’ as well as other global and regional IAP activities. Johanna holds a B.A. in International Politics and History from Jacobs University Bremen as well as a B.A. in German as a Foreign Language and an M.A. in European Studies from Leipzig University.
