Csongor Toth
Dr. Csongor is an Assistant Lecturer in the Anatomy and Embryology department from Vasile Goldis Western University of Arad, Romania. There, he received his medical education and he graduated with honors being valedictorian. Toth Csongor was actively involved in research teams and participated in many actions of the Red Cross Arad branch and he is one of the Founding members of the Arad branch of "Noi si ceilalti" Organization (We and others), a non-governmental organization that militates for rights of HIV-positive patients and patients with oncological diseases. Toth Csongor performed research in the fields of Gastroenterology and Forensic Medicine which resulted in 9 publications in Indexed Journals and 59 presentations in national and international conferences. He received the IIIrd place – poster – at the Diczfalusy Symposium on Reproductive Health on the 14th of November 2011 in Szeged, Hungary In 2009, by national exams, Toth Csongor chose the Family Medicine Internship and became a Family Physician Specialist in 2012. He manages to combine the individual, private, medical praxis of Family Physician with the academic duty. On the 31st of May 2015 he graduated from the National School of Public Health, Management and Professional Development Department, Bucharest, Romania (NSPHMPDB) and Romanian National Society of Family Physicians and he became a Trainer of Family Physicians. In the same period he was elected as Vice-president of the Arad branch of the National Society of Family Physicians, position in which, together with members of the national board, he manages, from a scientific point of view, all the Arad County Family Physicians praxis.
