In the National Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences (ANCEFN, Argentina), he served as President of the Section of Engineering (2012-2016), President of the Academy (2016-2020) and Member of the Directory Board (since 2020). Chair of the S20 carried out in Argentina in the frame of the G20 (2018) on the topic of Food Nutrition and Security. Participation in the S20’s carried out in Germany (2017) and Italy (2021). Member of the Executive Board of IANAS (2019-2020) and of the Committee for establishing a proposal of its strategic plan (2019-20). Invited Speaker in IAP 2019 Conference on Session 2: The Role of Academies in Supporting the SDGs: What can we learn from each other (in the frame of IAP General Assembly, Incheon, South Korea, 2019). Participation in the IAP/IANAS Regional Workshop on the SDGs (Mexico, 2018), Invited Speaker in the Conference on Climate Change, Health of the Planet and Future of Humanity held in 2018 in Vatican City. Member of the Policy Advice Committee of IAP since 2022.
