“Urban health is systemically relevant and critically linked to social, economic, and ecological systems in all countries of the world,” explains in Franz Gatzweiler, Executive Director of the International Science Council’s Global Science Programme on a Systems Approach to Urban Health and Wellbeing, in the latest IAP Urban Health video.
The 2020 global health emergency triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, he explains, has made it clear that cities are the epicentres of the outbreak and that urban health is systemically relevant and critically linked to social, economic, and ecological systems in all countries of the world.
